Juveniles Found Delinquent in Family Court

MAYS LANDING – Superior Court Judge James L. Jackson has adjudicated the following juveniles delinquent in Family Court, Atlantic County Prosecutor Ted Housel said.

1. NAME: Daniel Guilford, 16, Oyster Bay, Pleasantville

CHARGE (S): Robbery – On January 10, 2008, Guilford and three co-defendants assaulted an individual during the commission of a theft in Pleasantville.

DISPOSITION: Sentenced to two years at the Training School for Boys. Ordered to pay restitution; submit to DNA typing; pay a $15 Law Enforcement Officers’ Protection Act fine and a $150 VCCB penalty.

2. NAME: Jessica Suarez, 15, West Decatur Avenue, Pleasantville

CHARGE (S): Robbery - On January 10, 2008, Suarez and three co-defendants assaulted an individual during the commission of a theft in Pleasantville.

DISPOSITION: Sentenced to 2 years at the Training School for Girls. Ordered to submit to DNA typing; pay restitution; pay a $15 Law Enforcement Officers’ Protection Act fine and a $150 VCCB penalty.

3. NAME: Glenn Pratt, 17, Central Avenue, Egg Harbor Township

CHARGE (S): Sexual Assault – On June 9, 2007, Pratt and a co-defendant committed an act of sexual penetration upon an individual in Egg Harbor Township.

DISPOSITION: Sentenced to 18 months at the Training School for Boys. Ordered to attend and complete sex offender therapy; submit to DNA typing; pay a $15 Law Enforcement Officers’ Protection Act fine and a $30 VCCB penalty.

4. NAME: Wardell Richardson, 18, English Creek Avenue, Egg Harbor Township

CHARGE (S): Sexual Assault – On June 9, 2007, Richardson and a co-defendant committed an act of sexual penetration upon an individual in Egg Harbor Township.

DISPOSITION: Sentenced to 18 months at the Training School for Boys. Ordered to attend and complete sex offender therapy; submit to DNA typing; pay a $15 Law Enforcement Officers’ Protection Act fine and a $30 VCCB penalty.


5. NAME: Kevin Green, 17, North Raleigh Avenue, Atlantic City

CHARGE (S): Receiving Stolen Property; Receiving Stolen Property; Receiving Stolen Property, Eluding – On July 30, 2007, Green was found in possession of a stolen motor vehicle in Atlantic City. On September 16, 2007, Green was found in possession of a stolen motor vehicle in Atlantic City. On November 5, 2007, Green, while in possession of a stolen motor vehicle, attempted to elude police officers in Somers Point.

DISPOSITION: Sentenced to 18 months at the Training School for Boys – sentence suspended. Placed on probation until May 2009. Ordered to attend and complete a Youth Case Management residential program; pay restitution; submit to DNA typing; pay a $15 Law Enforcement Officers’ Protection Act fine and a $150 VCCB penalty. He will also lose his drivers license for six months.

6. NAME: Zachary Hammond, 13, Doughty Road, Pleasantville

CHARGE (S): Robbery – On January 1, 2008, Hammond and a co-defendant assaulted an individual during the commission of a theft in Northfield.

DISPOSITION: Placed on probation for 1 year. Ordered to attend and complete the Ministers Home Detention Project; attend the Juvenile Victim Impact Program; attend school; have no contact with the victim or co-defendant; submit to DNA typing; pay a $15 Law Enforcement Officers’ Protection Act fine and a $30 VCCB penalty.

7. NAME: Shadith Williams, 15, Langston Avenue, Pleasantville

CHARGE (S): Robbery – On January 1, 2008, Williams and a co-defendant assaulted an individual during the commission of a theft in Northfield.

DISPOSITION: Placed on probation for 1 year. Ordered to attend and complete the Ministers Home Detention Project; attend the Juvenile Victim Impact Program; attend school; have no contact with the victim or co-defendant; submit to DNA typing; pay a $15 Law Enforcement Officers’ Protection Act fine and a $30 VCCB penalty.

8. NAME: Robert Suggs, 16, Theresa Court, Absecon

CHARGE (S): Conspiracy to Possess Cocaine – On October 14, 2007, Suggs and another individual agreed to possess cocaine in Egg Harbor City.

DISPOSITION: Placed on probation until May 2009. Ordered to attend and complete inpatient substance abuse treatment; submit to periodic urine monitoring; submit to DNA typing; pay a $15 Law Enforcement Officers’ Protection Act fine and a $30 VCCB penalty.

9. NAME: Tanisha McKenzie, 17, Tilton Road, Egg Harbor Township

CHARGE (S): Conspiracy to Commit Theft – On November 13, 2007, McKenzie agreed with another individual to steal property valued in excess of $500 in Egg Harbor Township.

DISPOSITION: Placed on probation for 1 year. Ordered to attend the Juvenile Victim Impact Program; obtain gainful employment; pay restitution; submit to DNA typing; pay a $15 Law Enforcement Officers’ Protection Act fine and a $30 VCCB penalty.


10. NAME: Shaquanna Stalworth, 16, Amherst Avenue, Margate

CHARGE (S): Theft – On November 16, 2007, Stalworth stole property valued in excess of $500 in Egg Harbor Township.

DISPOSITION: Placed on probation for 1 year. Ordered to attend the Juvenile Victim Impact Program; obtain gainful employment; pay restitution; attend school; perform 50 hours of community service; submit to DNA typing; pay a $15 Law Enforcement Officers’ Protection Act fine and a $570 VCCB penalty.

CHARGE (S): Possession of Cocaine; Conspiracy to Distribute Cocaine – On June 13, 2007, Clegg was found in possession of a quantity of cocaine in Atlantic City. On September 22, 2007, Clegg and another individual agreed to distribute cocaine in Atlantic City.

DISPOSITION: Sentenced to 18 months at the Training School for Boys. Ordered to pay a $1000 DEDR fine; $25 lab fee; submit to DNA typing; pay a $15 Law Enforcement Officers’ Protection Act fine and a $60 VCCB penalty. He will also lose his license for six months.

2. NAME: Xavier Clark, 14, Hoover Drive, Mays Landing

CHARGE (S): Robbery – On October 15, 2007, Clark and two co-defendants assaulted an individual during the commission of a theft in Mt. Holly.

DISPOSITION: Sentenced to 18 months at the Training School for Boys. Ordered to pay restitution; submit to DNA typing; pay a $15 Law Enforcement Officers’ Protection Act fine and a $30 VCCB penalty.

3. NAME: Emanuel Williams, 16, North Maryland Avenue, Atlantic City

CHARGE (S): Possession of Cocaine with Intent to Distribute within 1000 Feet of a School; Unlawful Possession of a Weapon – On September 13, 2007, Williams was found in possession of a quantity of cocaine which he intended to distribute within 1000 feet of the New York Avenue School in Atlantic City. On November 27, 2007, Williams was found in possession of a handgun in Atlantic City.

DISPOSITION: Placed on probation until June, 2009. Ordered to attend and complete a Juvenile Justice Commission residential program; submit to periodic urine monitoring; submit to DNA typing; pay a $1000 DEDR fine; $25 lab fee; $15 Law Enforcement Officers’ Protection Act fine and a $90 VCCB penalty. He will also lose his drivers license for 6 months and is restrained from the New York Avenue School.

4. NAME: Lizimar Brown, 13, Hoover Drive, Mays Landing

CHARGE (S): Terroristic Threats – On January 12, 2008, Brown threatened to commit a crime of violence upon an individual in Hamilton Township.

DISPOSITION: Placed on probation for 1 year; placed on the Home Electronic Detention System. Ordered to cooperate with the Department of Children and Families; cooperate with Youth Case Management; submit to DNA typing; pay a $15 Law Enforcement Officers’ Protection Act fine and a $30 VCCB penalty.

5. NAME: Johnathan Parker, 13, Woodman Avenue, Hammonton

CHARGE (S): Theft – On October 13, 2007, Parker stole property valued in excess of $500 in Hammonton.

DISPOSITION: Placed on formal probation for 1 year. Ordered to attend and complete the Ministers Home Detention Project; attend the Juvenile Victim Impact Program; attend school; pay restitution; have no contact with the victim; submit to DNA typing; pay a $15 Law Enforcement Officers’ Protection Act fine and a $30 VCCB penalty.

6. NAME: Eric Teasley, 15, North New Road, Absecon

CHARGE (S): Possession of Cocaine– On October 28, 2007, Teasley was found in possession of a quantity of cocaine in Atlantic City.

DISPOSITION: Sentenced to 18 months at the Training School for Boys – sentence suspended. Placed on probation for 1 year. Ordered to attend and complete the Ministers Home Detention Project; attend intensive outpatient substance abuse treatment; submit to periodic urine monitoring; submit to DNA typing; pay a $1000 DEDR fine; $25 lab fee; $15 Law Enforcement Officers’ Protection Act fine and a $30 VCCB penalty. He will also lose his drivers license for six months.

7. NAME: Adrian Marrero, 14, East Waveland Avenue, Galloway

CHARGE (S): Aggravated Assault on a Police Officer (2 counts) – On September 7, 2007, Marrero assaulted two police officers who were acting in the performance of their official duties in Galloway Township.

DISPOSITION: Placed on probation for 1 year. Ordered to attend anger management counseling; pay restitution; submit to DNA typing; pay a $15 Law Enforcement Officers’ Protection Act fine and a $180 VCCB penalty.

8. NAME: Vallira Rice, 17, Dudley Avenue, Baltimore, MD

CHARGE (S): Receiving Stolen Property – On January 4, 2008, Rice was found in possession of a stolen motor vehicle in Somers Point.

DISPOSITION: Placed on probation for 1 year. Ordered to pay restitution; pay a $15 Law Enforcement Officers’ Protection Act fine and a $30 VCCB penalty.

1. NAME: Omar Curry, 17, North Congress Avenue, Atlantic City
CHARGE (S): Receiving Stolen Property – 2 Counts; Possession of Heroin with Intent to Distribute – On July 15, 2007, Curry was found in possession of a stolen motor vehicle in Atlantic City. On September 20, 2007, Curry was found in possession of a stolen motor vehicle in Atlantic City. On September 26, 2007, Curry was found in possession of a quantity of heroin which he intended to distribute in Atlantic City.

DISPOSITION: Sentenced to 30 months at the Training School for Boys. Ordered to submit to DNA typing; pay a $2000 Drug Enforcement Demand Reduction penalty; pay a $25 lab fee; pay restitution; pay a $15 Law Enforcement Officers’ Protection Act fine and a $90 Victims of Violent Crimes Compensation Board (VCCB) penalty. He will also lose his drivers license for six months.

2. NAME: Patrick Crew, 17, N. Maryland Avenue, Atlantic City

CHARGE (S): Possession of Cocaine with Intent to Distribute – On October 7, 2007, Crew was found in possession of a quantity of cocaine which he intended to distribute in Atlantic City.

DISPOSITION: Placed on probation for 1 year. Ordered to attend and complete inpatient substance abuse treatment; submit to periodic urine monitoring; submit to DNA typing; pay a $1000 DEDR fine; $25 lab fee; $15 Law Enforcement Officers’ Protection Act fine and a $30 VCCB penalty. He is restrained from the 700 block of North Maryland Avenue. He will also lose his drivers license for 6 months.

3. NAME: Yasheed Borden, 16, Drexel Avenue, Atlantic City

CHARGE (S): Possession of Cocaine with Intent to Distribute within 1000 Feet of a School – On September 4, 2007, Borden was found in possession of a quantity of cocaine which he intended to distribute within 1000 feet of Our Lady Star of the Sea School in Atlantic City.

DISPOSITION: Sentenced to 18 months in the Juvenile Intensive Supervision Program. Ordered to attend intensive outpatient substance abuse treatment; submit to periodic urine monitoring; perform 100 hours of community service; submit to DNA typing; pay a $1000 DEDR fine; $25 lab fee; $15 Law Enforcement Officers’ Protection Act fine and a $30 VCCB penalty. He will also lose his drivers license for 6 months. He is restrained from Our Lady Star of the Sea School.

4. NAME: Clifton Shannon, 13, Penrose Avenue, Atlantic City

CHARGE (S): Criminal Mischief – On May 9, 2007, Shannon and two co-defendants caused damage in excess of $500 to property in Atlantic City.

DISPOSITION: Placed on probation for 1 year. Ordered to cooperate with Care Management Organization; attend the Juvenile Victim Impact Program; have no contact with the victim or co-defendants; perform 60 hours of community service; submit to DNA typing; pay a $15 Law Enforcement Officers’ Protection Act fine and a $30 VCCB penalty.

5. NAME: Rontavius Evans, 11, Marion Drive, Absecon

CHARGE (S): Criminal Mischief – On May 9, 2007, Evans and two co-defendants caused damage in excess of $500 to property in Atlantic City.

DISPOSITION: Placed on probation for 1 year. Ordered to attend the Juvenile Victim Impact Program; have no contact with the victim or co-defendants; perform 40 hours of community service; submit to DNA typing; pay a $15 Law Enforcement Officers’ Protection Act fine and a $30 VCCB penalty.

6. NAME: Rajuan Charles, 14, North Arkansas Avenue, Atlantic City

CHARGE (S): Criminal Mischief – On May 9, 2007, Evans and two co-defendants caused damage in excess of $500 to property in Atlantic City.

1. NAME: Earl Cooper, 17, Pleasant Avenue, Pleasantville
CHARGE (S): Conspiracy to Possess Cocaine; Possession of Cocaine with Intent to Distribute within 1000 Feet of a School – On September 13, 2007, Cooper agreed with another individual to possess cocaine in Pleasantville. On September 23, 2007, Cooper was found in possession of a quantity of cocaine which he intended to distribute within 1000 feet of the Washington Avenue School in Pleasantville.

DISPOSITION: Sentenced to 3 years at the Training School for Boys. Ordered to submit to DNA typing; pay a $1000 Drug Enforcement Demand Reduction penalty; $25 lab fee; pay a $15 Law Enforcement Officers’ Protection Act fine and a $60 Victims of Violent Crimes Compensation Board (VCCB) penalty. He will also lose his drivers license for six months.

2. NAME: Nasir Brown, 14, Atlantic Avenue, Atlantic City
CHARGE (S): Burglary, Theft; Possession of Heroin with Intent to Distribute within 1000 Feet of a School On January 20, 2007, Brown unlawfully entered a residence and stole property valued in excess of $500 in Somers Point. On September 17, 2007, Brown was found in possession of a quantity of heroin which he intended to distribute within 1000 feet of the New York Avenue School in Atlantic City.

DISPOSITION: Placed on probation for 18 months. Ordered to attend and complete a Juvenile Justice Commission Residential Program; submit to DNA typing; pay a $1750 DEDR fine; pay a $50 lab fee; pay a $15 Law Enforcement Officers’ Protection Act fine and a $150 VCCB penalty. He will also lose his license for 1 year.

3. NAME: Bashawn Whitted, 15, N. Tennessee Avenue, Atlantic City
CHARGE (S): Robbery – On September 18, 2007, Whitted assaulted an individual during the commission of a theft in Atlantic City.

DISPOSITION: Placed on probation for 1 year. Ordered cooperate with the Division of Children and Families; attend the Juvenile Victim Impact Program; pay restitution; have no contact with the victim; submit to DNA typing; pay a $15 Law Enforcement Officers’ Protection Act fine and a $30 VCCB penalty.

4. NAME: Quincy Skinner, 16, Sussex Place, Galloway Township
CHARGE (S): Credit Card Fraud – 2 counts – On May 12, 2007, and May 14, 2007, Skinner fraudulently used a credit card belonging to another to obtain property in Galloway Township.

DISPOSITION: Placed on probation for 1 year. Ordered to attend and complete the Juvenile Victim Impact Program; pay restitution; have no contact with the victim; submit to DNA typing; pay a $15 Law Enforcement Officers’ Protection Act fine and a $120 VCCB penalty.
