Surrenders - Held on $50,000 Cash Bail By VIRGINIA McCABE Floyd Tally, 37, surrendered himself to Atlantic City Police today. He was wanted on charges related to the sex tape extortion plot against Atlantic City Councilman Gene Robinson. Robinson was allegedly lured to the Bayview Motel in Absecon during November 2006 and filmed receiving oral sex from a prostitute, who was allegedly involved in a plot to film the act. Atlantic County Prosecutor Jeffrey S. Blitz said Robinson did not pay for sex. Blitz stated Monday that Tally surrendered himself to the Atlantic City Police Department, was transported to the Atlantic County Justice Facility on $50,000 cash bail. Tally was processed at approximately 6 p.m. Former Atlantic City Council President Craig Callaway, his brother Ronald Callaway and Tally are charged in the alleged crime with theft by extortion, conspiracy to commit theft by extortion, and invasion of privacy. Craig Callaway is currently serving a 40-month sentence in the federal prison system in Gilmore, W.Va., for taking $36,000 in bribes. Atlantic City Councilman John Schultz and David Callaway are charged with conspiracy to commit extortion and conspiracy to commit invasion of privacy in the Robinson case. Blitz has racked up five arrests in the alleged extortion plot. He stated Monday that the investigation is ongoing with regard to other co-conspirators who aided, abetted, assisted or conspired with the charged defendants and others who have been identified throughout the course of the investigation. The FBI, Atlantic City Police and investigators for the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office worked on the case.
