Lesson in Making Yourself This Week in Politics Watching Harry Hurley fumble about on his so called “investigation” into the records of a U.S. Army Vet is getting painful. How did Hurley become the dried-out bitter old shell of a public watch dog that he once fancied himself to be? His bones are crumbling under the weight of yet another failed and vicious attack against a public figure. The difference this time is that he picked on a Combat Veteran of the United States Army. That’s how you become extinct. The hay day of hate is over in America. Most decent Americans still feel the sting of shame regarding the way Vietnam Veterans were treated. In my opinion, they don’t want to see another Vietnam Vet kicked around, especially by the likes of Harry Hurley, a man who chose not to serve this country. Most people I know usually just ignore Harry. This time Harry’s screaming headlines have been challenged, countered and called to account. He doesn’t like that very much. Harry’s beginning to sound strident and say strange and weird things. It must be hard out there for a tired out old dog, especially one who
can dish it out but not take it. |
